ok here goes...

Grant trudged along through the woods thinking deeply to himself as the wind caressed his cheek. He was tired of watching everyone else on their dragons, flying and swimming with them like it was perfectly natural. Well, it was natural, to be honest. Grant was simply the only one who had yet to find a dragon willing to be his partner. He 'd been called everything from average to midnight snack to some thing in dragon's natural language that he was sure was very demeaning. Absently he kicked at a rock that happened to be jutting out of the hard packed dirt of the path. Watching as the rock skittered along and vanished into the brush gave Grant an idea. There had been rumors that there were wild dragons out in the islands wilderness. With a determined grin Grant ran into the unmarked regions of the woods.
Some time later, as he walked in the uncharted areas, Grant began to doubt his plan. Though the foliage was thicker here and little light could make it through the canopy, He could tell by the cooling of the area that it was nearing sunset. And he was hopelessly lost. With a deep sigh as he dragged himself into a clearing Grant plopped down against a rather large and craggy boulder. Something seemed off about it but He didn't care to examine it in the fading light.

Hello, I was thinking of joining your rp. However when you said races I was wondering if a draconian could be a race?

Draconian - Dragon-like creatures only made from the eggs of metallic dragons(i.e. gold, copper, silver dragons) and always from the process of using dark,evil magic to twist and distort the helpless eggs. Usually evil at heart, but there are some exceptions. Usually they must fight off the urges.

I was planning to be a Silver draconian.

Most of this info comes from the book, "A Practical Guide to Dragon Riding".

Well, I don't think a Draconian would fit in too well here. I said I didn't want any half-animal characters, and I know that doesn't exactly fit what a Draconian is, but since they come from a dragon egg, and to my knowledge are kind of humanoid looking lizards, I think I will have to say no unfortunately. :[ So sorry!

Training at the Cliff-side Academy doesn't take long, just until your Teacher feels you are ready to be un-supervised. :] So, if you are particularly skilled and have a good connection with your Dragon, you will do exceptional. Most of the time it takes 2 weeks to maybe a month tops. :] And you don't have to just be getting your Dragon, you can already be an owner. 18 is just the age you are aloud to have a Dragon of your own...that the Council is aware of ;P

Ever since reading a series of books called Dragonriders of Pern, I have wanted to be a dragonrider. And while this urge was somewhat quenched by reading the Eragon books I am finding myself in need of some more dragonriding. I would love to join this RP if you will have me. I have been on this site for a few years off and on usually from stupid things happening like people getting bored and leaving the RP and without any notice to boot. I believe myself a decent writer and RPer and I hope my character that I shall create right after this post will be approved. If you like, I have a current one person story going on atm (linked in my sig) that you can check out.

I have also been DYING to play in a Dragon Riding roleplay, obviously. I have been looking for one to join for a while now, but couldn't find many. So I had to whip this one up today, I couldn't take it anymore! :P It's a pretty cheesy classic fantasy type storyline, but I just wanted it to be an easy laid back Roleplay, where people could just enjoy the Fantasy and Dragon Theme :] And be creative!

And of course you're welcome to join. I am sure you Character will meet my requirements :3
