Let?s start with the basics? why do your want to start an internet business?

A lot of people believe that employment is the way to go. Getting a stable job, building a career and racing to the top of the corporate ladder gives you what you need. It pays the bills and more. I agree to all that. So why did I even bother starting my own internet business? I can sum up my answer in just three words: FAMILY and FINANCIAL FREEDOM.

I am a single mother to an 8-year-old boy. My main reason for waking up everyday is to make sure that I am able to provide for him. He is my inspiration for everything that I do. My world revolves around him. I want to make sure that he gets whatever he needs and that I am also able to give him some luxuries in life. I want to make sure that I will be a good father and mother to him.

The job that I have right now allows for me to provide for his needs ? our needs. But I know that with him growing up fast, I would need a lot more resources to be able to cope with the financial demands of providing for him. That?s why I started looking for additional income. That?s how I found internet business.

Building your own online business allows you to earn not only while you are employed and providing your services. Building your own online business helps you build ?income for life?. There are a lot of different kinds of online businesses and there are those that will allow you to earn even in your sleep. Residual income is something that is commonly heard of right now. In a nutshell, it means that whatever work you do right now will still give you income 5, 10 or even 25 years from now. Isn?t that just the best work that you can do at this moment? Don?t get me wrong. I?m not saying that I don?t like my job. I do! I enjoy what I am doing right now. I just want to make sure that when the time comes that I am not able to keep an 8 to 5 job, or (knock on wood!) if I lose the one that I have right now, I will still have income. Eventually, the residual income that I can get from my online business will be my key to having financial freedom as well.

One important thing that I would also want to say is that with these reasons that I have, the desire to help other people is also a driving force for me to work hard and to make my business flourish. I feel that I can freely help my family, relatives, friends and even people who I don?t know, once I have financial freedom. Sharing is very important.
